Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

AgrinFinance is a trading brand of Agrin Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 12556122, registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We act as a finance intermediary: we introduce clients seeking financing to financiers seeking opportunities. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for personal data submitted through this website.

If you have any question about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at info@agrin.finance.

2. What Data We Collect

We only collect what you give us and what is technically necessary to run the site.

Information you submit through our inquiry forms (on the Get Financing and For Financiers pages): your name, email address, telephone number, company or organisation name, country, the financing amount or ticket size you indicate, and the free-text description of your requirement or mandate.

Technical information collected automatically: your IP address (recorded with form submissions for security and anti-abuse purposes), and standard server log data. If you follow an outbound referral link we record that a click occurred, together with your IP address, browser user-agent, and referring page.

We do not intentionally collect special category data (such as health or political data). Please do not include such information in free-text fields.

3. Why We Use It, and Our Lawful Basis

To respond to and progress your inquiry โ€” lawful basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract. This is the core purpose: without it we cannot help you.

To introduce your requirement to potential counterparties โ€” lawful basis: legitimate interests, and where required, your consent. See section 4, which explains this in detail because it is the most significant thing we do with your data.

To prevent abuse of our forms and protect the website โ€” lawful basis: legitimate interests. This is why we log IP addresses and apply rate limiting.

To measure how the site is used โ€” lawful basis: consent, where analytics cookies are used. See our Cookie Policy.

4. How We Share Your Data With Third Parties

This is central to our service, so we set it out plainly.

When you submit a financing inquiry, we do not publish it and we do not sell it. We prepare an anonymised profile of your requirement โ€” the commercial substance without your identity โ€” and share that profile only with financiers in our network whose stated mandate matches your need.

Your identity and contact details are disclosed to a financier only when you agree to be introduced to that financier. Equally, if you register as a financier, your identity and criteria are not disclosed to clients until you choose to engage. You may withdraw from any introduction before identities are exchanged.

We also use service providers who process data on our behalf, including our web hosting provider and, where enabled, analytics providers. These act as processors under contract and may not use your data for their own purposes. Where an outbound referral link is used, the destination platform is a separate, independent controller and its own privacy policy applies once you leave our site.

We may disclose data where required by law, court order, or a regulatory authority.

5. International Transfers

Our financier network is international, so a matched profile may be shared with a recipient outside the UK. Where we transfer personal data internationally we rely on adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses. As explained in section 4, identifying details are shared internationally only with your agreement.

6. How Long We Keep It

We retain inquiry records for as long as needed to progress the matter and, afterwards, for a period appropriate to our legitimate business and record-keeping needs โ€” normally up to six years from the end of our relationship, reflecting standard UK limitation periods. Where an inquiry does not proceed and you ask us to delete it, we will do so unless we are required to retain it.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: be informed about how we use your data; request access to a copy of it; have inaccurate data corrected; request erasure; restrict or object to our processing (including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests); request portability; and withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis we rely on.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@agrin.finance. We will respond within one month. Exercising your rights is free.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.

8. Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Inquiry forms are protected against cross-site request forgery and automated abuse, and submissions are stored in an access-controlled database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security โ€” please do not send sensitive financial details such as full bank account numbers through the website forms.

9. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adult professional users. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or the law. The revision date is shown at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we share your data will be communicated to affected users where we hold contact details for them.
